Lovell Middle School has launched the 2026–2027 academic year with extraordinary momentum, high staff dedication, and joyful student engagement. Our team has successfully established academic baselines, operationalized targeted intervention and enrichment, and fostered record participation in school life.

Screening Finalized
Our faculty is concluding the Fall Universal Screening window utilizing FastBridge across Reading (aReading/CBMreading) and Mathematics (aMath). This rapid assessment equips teachers with diagnostic precision to address skill gaps immediately.

Bulldog Time Operational Model (MTSS Tier II)
Daily 35-minute intervention and enrichment block built directly into the bell schedule without taking away core class time.
Fluid 6-Week Cycles
Tier II Math Intervention FastBridge Aligned
Targeting foundational numeracy, multi-step problem solving, and algebraic thinking. Small groups maintain a 1:8 teacher-student ratio for intense practice and immediate feedback loops.

Tier II ELA Intervention Evidence-Based
Structured literacy routines focusing on fluency, academic vocabulary acquisition, and evidence-based textual synthesis. Pacing is calibrated to accelerate students back to benchmark grade level.
