Reflect on the lesson using Cool Down prompts. Affirm effort and celebrate with the Sticker Chart .

Warm-Up: Echo Game (5 min)
Welcome the student and explain the 'Echo Game'.
Teacher: "Welcome, [Student's Name]! I'm so excited for our special listening adventure today. We're going to become super listeners! Are you ready?" (Wait for response)
Teacher: "First, let's play a quick 'Echo Game'. I'll say a sound or a word, and you echo it back exactly how I say it. Ready?"
"Meow!"
"Zoom!"

"Hooray!"
"Fantastic echoing! You're already showing me your great listening ears!"

Slide 1: Welcome (2 min)
Teacher: "Look at our first slide! It says, 'Welcome to Our Listening Adventure!' Today, our adventure is all about listening carefully and following directions. It's like being a detective, listening for clues! Are you ready to be a SUPER LISTENER?" (Wait for response. Give a high-five.)

Slide 2: One-Step Wonders! (6 min)
Teacher: "This slide is all about 'One-Step Wonders!' That means I'm going to tell you to do ONE thing, and your job is to listen and do it. Easy peasy, right?"
• "Touch your head." (Praise: "Yes! You touched your head!")
• "Clap your hands." (Praise: "Wonderful! You clapped!")
• "Stomp your feet." (Praise: "Excellent stomping!")

Slide 4: Two-Step Trek! (6 min)
Teacher: "Okay, Super Listener, now we're going on a 'Two-Step Trek!' This means I'm going to tell you to do TWO things. It's like having two clues in a row! You need to remember both. Can you do that?"
"First, stand up. Then, sit down."
Observe, prompt if needed. Praise: "You stood up, AND you sat down! Amazing!"
"First, touch your toes. Then, stand tall."
Praise: "Toes, then tall! You remembered both!"

Teacher: "It's 'Challenge Time!' We're going to use some of our materials for these two-step directions. Remember, TWO things!"
