The Psychology
Students with working memory issues often suffer from "Inertia"—the inability to start. By reducing the size of the first step to something trivial (e.g., "Open the document"), we bypass the brain's overwhelm response. Digital boards provide visual persistence that paper lists often lack.
Facilitation Priorities
Verify task size. If it takes longer than 15 mins, force them to split it.
Encourage digital transfer. Paper is the blueprint; the app is the tool.
Celebrate the "Check-Off." Create a loud positive moment when a student clicks 'Done'.

The "Time Blindness" Support
Students with ADHD or working memory deficits often experience "Time Blindness"—the inability to sense how much time has passed.
