Strategy Selection: Given a peer conflict, the student will independently identify and articulate an appropriate strategy to use, and execute it with peer support or teacher coaching in 4 out of 5 conflict opportunities.

Independent Application: Given a peer conflict, the student will independently choose and execute an appropriate conflict-resolution strategy to resolve the issue peacefully in 4 out of 5 opportunities.

Formula: "It bugs me when you [behavior]. I wish you would [action]."

Used to share feelings during a serious disagreement.
Formula: "I feel [emotion] when you [action] because [reason]."

Compromise / Coin Flip
Used for low-stakes disputes (sharing playground items).
Formula: Propose a timer, take turns, or play Rock-Paper-Scissors.

Cool Down / Take 5
Used when emotions/arousal levels are too high to talk.
Formula: Step away, take 5 slow breaths, then return to resolve.
