Introduction & Warm-Up
5 Minutes
Script: "Hi [Student's Name]! I'm really excited about something new we're going to try together to help you be super successful in class."
Action: Explain that we're creating a 'Behavior Tracker' to remember goals and celebrate hard work. Keep the tone warm and enthusiastic.

Introduce the Tracker (Slides)
10 Minutes
Slide 1: Emphasize ownership. This is *their* special tool.
Slide 2: Discuss "Following Directions" and "Completing Work." Ask: "Why do you think these are important?"
Slide 3: Explain the mechanics. Let the student choose the sticker type or marker color they prefer.
Slide 4: Collaboratively list 2-3 small rewards (immediate) and 1 larger goal (delayed). Examples: stickers, 5 mins drawing, special pencil.

Customize the Tracker
8 Minutes
Present the printed tracker. "Let's make this tracker perfect for you!"
Action: Help identify 3-4 key blocks of time (Morning Work, Reading, Math, etc.). Write these on the tracker.
Action: Fill in the chosen rewards so they are visually present for motivation.

Practice & Review
5 Minutes
Scenario: "Imagine it's Morning Work. You listened to directions and finished your first problem. What would happen?"
Action: Guide the student to place a practice mark/sticker. Reiterate: "I'm here to help you every step of the way. We'll start using this today!"
