The Cartographic Mission
Welcome, cartographers! Your team has been commissioned to map a specific, separate continent plate. Using pages 438-455 of your history atlas , you will research, color-code, and assemble your continent. Each group's continental sheet is scaled specifically so that when all pages are aligned on the classroom backdrop, they meet up beautifully at coordinate boundaries to naturally reveal the global oceans in between them!
Step-by-Step Execution

Research & Log (Day 1): Examine your assigned continent's atlas pages (pp. 438-455). Document 5 crucial landforms (mountains, basins, plateaus, etc.), noting their elevation values and coordinates on your Group Worksheet.

Trace & Outline (Day 1-2): Identify boundaries and elevation contours on your individual continental template. Lightly pencil division contours for lowlands, highlands, and mountains.

Apply Topographic Palette (Day 2): Color your continent strictly according to the official Elevation Color Key. Use smooth gradients or solid fills to represent high-altitude peaks, plateaus, and coastal plains.

Detailing & Labels (Day 3): Use fine-point black pens to label major landforms, oceans, rivers, and mountain ranges. Outline coordinate guides neatly to ensure accurate alignment.

Ocean-Spaced Assembly (Day 3): Carefully cut along your template borders. Anchor your sheet to the shared coordinate backdrop grid. The gaps left between your sheets will construct the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans!

Objective & Overview
