Visual Verification:
The Red Flag is the only word terminator. In the student worksheet, all figures share uniform spacing to ensure students rely entirely on flag detection for word breaks.
Common Pitfalls:
Ensure students aren't looking for actual spaces between figures. "AMAZING!" ends with the flag on G. The '!' is separate punctuation at the end of the signal stream.
