Campaigning Begins: Tuesday, August 25
Election Day: Thursday, August 28
Eligibility Warning
CRITICAL: All STUCO candidates and members must remain in excellent academic and behavioral standing!
Executive Board Positions (8th & 7th Grade)
President
1 yr STUCO Exp. Preferred
The chief student administrator and leader of the student body. Responsible for representing all student concerns, running official council meetings, organizing business, and acting as the official spokesperson for Lovell Middle School.
Vice President
1 yr STUCO Exp. Preferred
The second-highest elected officer. Supports the President in all organizational tasks, presides over official STUCO meetings when the President is absent, and must stay fully updated on all current and ongoing council initiatives.
Treasurer
Monitors and accounts for all student council funds. Explains school budget matters to members, maintains financial balances, and assists in planning school store operations, fundraisers, and concessions.
Secretary
The primary record keeper of STUCO. Takes detailed, official minutes of all council meetings, manages organization documents, and coordinates communication channels. Requires strong writing and organization skills.
Grade-Level Representatives (6th, 7th & 8th Grade)
8th Grade Rep
Advocates for the 8th grade interests and raises awareness of grade events.

7th Grade Rep
Advocates for the 7th grade interests and spreads information for projects.

6th Grade Rep
First-year advocates who build connection and represent 6th grade voices.

Didn't win your election? Join the STUCO Coalition!
Any student who campaigns but is not elected to an office can automatically join STUCO as a Coalition Member. This allows you to attend all meetings, voice your ideas, and support school-wide initiatives!

- • Your name and office must be clearly visible on all.
- • Staff Hanging Only: Do not post them yourself. LMS staff will post them.
- • Positive Campaigning: Absolutely no negative candidate talks, mudslinging, or unrealistic empty promises.
