Guided Practice (Syllable Training) Direct attention to the Cipher Key on Page 1. Model decoding Word 1 (COLONY) . Clap out the 3 beats of *col-o-ny* together. Guide students to fill in the missing boxes for Word 2 & 3 as a supported group.
