1. Warm Up & Introduce (10 Min): Display Cradle Explorers Slides 1 & 2. Introduce the vocabulary words: Geography, Social Pyramid, Religion, and Polytheistic . Ask students to brainstorm modern equivalents of these concepts.
2. Interactive Map (15 Min): Teach the 7 continents and 5 oceans using Slide 3. Distribute the Global Map Explorer Activity. Guide students to fill out the map, or have them work in pairs to identify geographic features.
