The Setup:
Hide the 4 envelopes in the locations listed below before class begins. Ensure the final prize is the most securely hidden "treasure."
The Clue Script

Clue #1 (Personal Space Focus):
"First, move your personal bubble to the Shared Rug. Look NEXT TO the big blue bin."

Clue #2 (Positional Focus):
"Now, go to the classroom door. Walk FORWARD until you reach the bookshelves. Look UNDER a red book."

Clue #3 (Directional Focus):
"From the bookshelves, TURN RIGHT. Walk FORWARD past 4 desks. Look INSIDE the empty cubby."

Clue #4 (The Treasure):
"Finally, find the sink. The treasure is BETWEEN the soap and the paper towels ON TOP of the counter!"
Differentiation & Tips
For Students Needing Support:
Give one clue at a time. Use hand signals to reinforce "left" and "right" or point in the general direction while speaking.
For Advanced Students:
Combine multiple clues into one multi-step instruction. Ask them to describe the relative location of the clue to a peer once they find it.
Success Criteria:
Students correctly use/follow: Personal vs Shared, Inside/Outside, On Top/Under, Next To/Between, Forward/Backward, Left/Right.
