The Purpose
This system makes the abstract concept of income concrete. Students perform "work" (chores) to earn "income" (tokens/classroom money), which they will later learn to save and spend in Lessons 3-5.
Frequency
Assign jobs weekly. "Pay Day" should occur every Friday to establish a consistent rhythm of reward for effort.
