Step-by-Step Directions
Build a Helium Atom
Model: Helium (He)
Follow each numbered step below to build your atom model on your desk.

Make the Center (Nucleus)
Snap 2 Red Bricks (protons) and 2 Blue Bricks (neutrons) together in a square cluster.
Center = Nucleus

Set the Center Inside Your Ring
Place your red and blue cluster right in the middle of your paper ring or plate.

Add the Fast Electrons
Place 2 Yellow Bricks on the round ring track, far away from each other.
Yellow zooms on the track!
