What is Energy Transfer?
Energy transfer happens when energy moves from one object or system to another. Think of it like passing a baton in a relay race. One runner (the source) has the energy, and they pass it to the next runner (the receiver).

The Soccer Kick
Imagine you are playing soccer. You pull your leg back (storing energy) and then WHAM! You kick the ball. In that split second, energy is transferred from your foot to the ball.
