Presentation Power Tips
How to be an expert speaker for your Mammal Report
1
Use Your Cards Wisely
- Don't read word-for-word! Use bullet points to remind you what to say.
- Keep them in order: Check your numbers (1-5) before you start.
- One at a time: Move finished cards to the back of the deck.
2
Project Your Voice
- Speak up: Talk to the person in the very back row.
- Slow down: If you're nervous, take a breath and speak at a walking pace.
- Show excitement: Let your voice show why your mammal is cool!
3
Connect with the Audience
- The "T-Zone": Look left, right, and middle of the room.
- Glance and Speak: Look at your card for a fact, then look up to say it.
- Smile! It helps you relax and makes the class interested.
4
Stand Tall
- Plant your feet: Stand with feet apart so you don't wiggle.
- Hands: Hold your cards with both hands to keep them steady.
✨ Practice Challenge ✨
Present Card 1 to a mirror three times! Try it once standing on one leg just for fun—it helps you practice staying focused while under pressure!
