Imagine living in a place that is freezing cold, or a hot desert with almost no water! Animals cannot pack a suitcase or turn on the air conditioner. Instead, they have amazing survival tools called adaptations. An adaptation is a special body part or behavior that helps an animal live and grow in its home. Let's look at three incredible survivors!
1. Arctic Camo
The Arctic fox lives in icy lands. In the winter, its fur turns pure white to match the snow. This special camouflage helps it hide from polar bears and creep up on its food!

Ducks and frogs have webbed feet. The skin between their toes works like little paddles. This helps them glide smoothly through ponds to catch bugs and escape swimming predators!
