1. Photosynthesis Inputs/Outputs
Inputs: Sunlight (energy), Water, Carbon Dioxide. Outputs: Glucose (sugar/food) and Oxygen. Plants use the glucose for growth and energy to build their structures.
2. Disappearance of Decomposers
Dead matter would pile up. The soil would run out of nutrients because they aren't being recycled. Producers (plants) would eventually struggle to grow because the soil would be poor and lack what they need to stay healthy.
3. The Domino Effect
If grass disappears, herbivores like rabbits and crickets will starve or move away. Then, the animals that eat them (frogs, snakes, hawks) will also lose their food source. The entire web could collapse.
Matter Cycle Challenge
