Energy Quest Game Manual Energy Quest
Game Manual & Answer Key
Standard 3.PS.3
Science Grade 3
Learning Objective
Students will identify and distinguish between five forms of energy: Heat, Electrical, Light, Sound, and Magnetic . By navigating the game board and answering challenges, students apply their knowledge to real-world examples.
Materials Needed
Printed Energy Quest Board
Set of Challenge Cards (16 total)
1 Die (6-sided) & Player Tokens
How to Play
1
Setup: Shuffle the cards and place them face down. Each player chooses a token and starts on the Start space.
2
Rolling: On your turn, roll the die and move that many spaces. Follow any instructions on the space where you land.
3
Cards: If you land on a Question (?) space, draw a card. If you answer correctly, stay. If wrong, move back 2 spaces.
4
Winning: Enter the Finish area through the yellow entrance to win!
