space voice trace choice bounce pounce twice glance
Vance was an astronaut flying far out into deep space. His silver rocket glided past distant planets in utter silence. Vance gazed out the thick glass window into the dark place filled with shining stars.
Suddenly, a quiet beeping sound broke the quiet space. Vance cast a quick glance down at his radar screen. A glowing green dot blinked twice in the center of the grid!
Then Vance heard a soft voice over the radio speaker. “Greetings from the moon base! We have spotted a missing crate that bounced off our ramp. Can you trace its path across the solar grid?”
Vance had a choice to make. He could stay on his flight plan, or he could help track down the floating crate. Vance clicked his mic. “I will trace the path at once,” Vance said with confidence.
Vance steered his rocket around a tumbling comet. He saw the crate bounce softly off a chunk of space rock. Vance locked on his tractor beam and reeled the crate safely into place! The warm voice returned: “Splendid job, Vance. You saved the day!”
