Error Repair Strategy
When a word trips you up, pause immediately and ask the three radar questions:
1. Does it look right?
Check every letter from left to right. Did you say all the syllables?
2. Does it sound right?
Is that a real word in English? Does it sound natural in the sentence?
3. Does it make sense?
Does the word fit the story? If not, back up and reread the sentence.
