STATION A: The Clank-Clank Stomp Path
3-4 Minutes
Setup: Lay 4 blue cardboard squares or foam tiles on the floor.
Action: Student acts like Beep walking across the room. High robot knee lifts, stomping flat feet on each tile while teacher makes mechanical sounds: "CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!"
STATION B: Robot Turntable & Freeze
3-4 Minutes
Setup: Place a hula hoop or circular taped ring on the floor.
Action: Student steps inside, holds arms at 90-degree angles, and turns slowly saying "Whirrr, Whirrr!" When teacher raises the Stop card, student freezes solid like a statue.
STATION C: Power Battery Stretch
2-3 Minutes
Setup: Touch a visual green "battery recharge" card on the wall.
Action: Student squats low ("low battery"), touches the card, and stretches hands high into the air with big robot finger wiggles ("full charge: 100%!").

Teacher drops a plastic or foam yellow gear on the carpet with a loud "CLATTER!" The student must immediately freeze, drop hands to knees, and crouch down to inspect the floor. Model the verbalization: "Uh-oh, gear!"

Student walks like Beep (stiff legs, outstretched robot arms) to search. First reach way UP over a soft block, then crawl on hands and knees under a child table or blanket tunnel. Verbal prompt: "Is it up high? No! Is it down low? Let's look!"

How to Run the Kinesthetic Freeze Game (15-25 min)
STEP 1
Music Plays: Play upbeat electronic or clapping music. The student marches, stomps, and swings robot arms around the room in a big circle.
STEP 2
Music Stops & Cue Given: Teacher pauses music and holds up an emotion card (or calls: "LOW BATTERY SAD!" ). Student must locate the matching floor mat and quickly jump or step with both feet onto it.
STEP 3
Freeze & Express (RL.PK.3): While standing on the mat, student acts out the emotion with their body (e.g. on Sad Mat: droop head, arms dangle, make soft "beep... beep..." sound).
Scaffolded Comprehension Questions (RL.PK.1):
Level 1 (Gestural / Pointing): "Beep has 1% battery. Is Beep HAPPY or SAD?" (Teacher holds both mats at eye level for student touch).
