! Common Student Misconceptions & How to Coach Them
1. Missing Word Bridges
Error: "She sang stage morning."
Coach Cue:"Point to the Word Bank WHERE column. What bridge word connects 'sang' to 'stage'? Pick 'on' or 'near'!"
2. Missing Front Comma
Error: "After recess the class read."
Coach Cue:"Say it aloud. Where does your breath pause before the kernel starts? Add a comma!"
3. "Why" Traffic Jams
Error: Dropping reasons without 'because' or 'to'.
Coach Cue:"Check the Word Bank WHY box. Start your reason with 'because' or 'to'."
