The Class Robot
Read the passage 3 times. Color a star each time!
The bell rings at ten. Milo can go to his desk. He sits with his pal, Robin. Mr. Fox has a basic task for the class. We will craft a model robot!
Milo has a plan. He will focus on the metal legs. Robin cuts a plastic box to fit the body. “Can we make it go?” asks Robin. “No, it is not a human,” Milo says. “It cannot run, but we can pretend!”
Mr. Fox puts on soft music as the kids work. The lab is not silent, but the class is glad. Robin sets a red magnet on top. “Look at this moment!” she says. “Our robot can stand!” “It is open for the contest!” yells Milo.
Then, the bell rings for lunch. We must reset our desk, pack up the scraps, and go!
