1 Parts of Speech

• Nouns: Names a person, place, thing, or idea.

2 Sentence Structures

• Simple Sentence: Contains exactly one independent clause (subject + predicate).

• Compound Sentence: Joins two independent clauses with a comma and coordinating conjunction (FANBOYS).
  Ex: Parvana escaped, but she felt scared.

3 Commas & Apostrophes

• Items in Series (Lists): Separate three or more items. Use Oxford commas!
  Ex: eggs, milk, and bread.
• Possessive Apostrophes: Add 's for singular, and ' after the "s" for plural.

4 Quotes & Capitalization

• Dialogue Quotations: Use quotation marks for exact speech. Place punctuation inside quotes.

• Capitalization: Capitalize names, days of week, months, proper places, and literary titles.
