Three Ways to Tell Your Story
You have complete creative freedom over which door you open today.
A Fun Memory
A real-life adventure, family trip, hilarious mistake, unexpected victory, or a day with friends you still laugh about.
Real-Life Memoir
A Story for Me
A meaningful experience you want to share with your teacher: a challenge you overcame, a hobby you love, or a proud moment.
Personal Connection
Original Fiction
Pure imagination! Build your own protagonist, invent an unusual mystery, craft an epic conflict, or design a futuristic world.
Creative Invention
No matter the path, every story needs heart, stakes, and tension! Pick the path that excites you most
Story Architecture Step 02
The Anatomy of a Story Mountain
A narrative isn't just a list of events—it's an emotional ride.
01. The Hook & Setup
Normal World
Introduce the main character, the setting, and an opening hook that grabs attention.
02. Rising Heat
The Problem Deepens
A roadblock appears! The character tries to fix it, but obstacles get tougher and stakes climb.
03. The Climax Peak
Point of No Return
The highest energy moment. The character confronts the challenge face-to-face.
04. The Resolution
The New Normal
Dust settles. How did the character change? What lesson or feeling stays with the reader?
Author Secret: Don't rush to the climax! Let the tension brew step by step.
Crafting Imagery Step 03
The Golden Rule: Show, Don't Tell
Don't tell the reader what someone feels—make them feel it too.
Telling (Boring)
“Maya was extremely nervous before walking out onto the stage.”
The reader is just told facts. No sensory pictures appear in their mind.
Showing (Alive)
“Maya wiped clammy palms on her jeans, her heart hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird as the stage lights hummed.”
Sensory details: clammy palms, hammering heart, buzzing lights!

World Building Step 04
Breathing Life into People & Places
Your readers should feel like they're walking right beside your characters.
Memorable Characters
What do they want? Every character needs a strong drive or longing.
What's in their way? An enemy, fear, misunderstanding, or the clock ticking.
Unique habits: How do they speak? A nervous tic? A favorite phrase?
Atmospheric Setting
Time & Place: Midnight in a creaky attic or noon on a sun-scorched field.
Weather & Mood: Does rain heighten sadness? Does fog add mystery?
Small Details: Squeaking sneakers, flickering neon, the smell of damp grass.
In real stories, you are the main character! Share your authentic inner thoughts.
