In the morning, stan 4 walked into his shop. He could not believe his eyes! There, sitting on his table, was a pair of beautiful shoes. Who could have made them. 5

The next morning, two pairs of perfect shoes were waiting on the workbench. This went on for weeks! Stan and his wife, jan 8 , became very wealthy.
One evening in december 9 , stan 10 said to his wife, " let's 11 stay up tonight to see who is helping us."

" the 15 poor little things must be freezing," jan 16 whispered. " let's 17 make them some warm clothes. I will sew tiny shirts and trousers, and you can make little shoes."
