Objective Students will collaboratively construct a Halloween-themed story, developing imaginative writing and teamwork skills within a small group setting. Prep Work Review Materials: Familiarize yourself with the slides, game cards, and activity sheet. Prepare Cards: Print and cut the Ingredient Cards for each small group. Group Students: Divide into small groups of 3-4 prior to starting. Materials Needed Spooky Story Slides Spooky Story Game Cards Collaborative Activity Sheet Markers or Pencils Instructional Procedure TimePhaseAction Steps5 minIntro & Hook Show Slide 1: "Ready for a Recipe?" Introduce the "Spooky Story Stew" concept. Discussion: "What makes a story spooky or fun for Halloween?" Show Slide 2: "Our Story Ingredients" and explain the components: character, setting, problem, solution, ending. | | 10 min | The Game | Distribute sets of Ingredient Cards to each group. Explain rules: Draw 1 card from each category (Character, Setting, Problem, Object). Groups share ingredients aloud within their group.
