The Sea Dog's Look
Pirates didn't wear uniforms. They wore rugged, practical clothing suited for sea life.
- Tricorne Hats: To shield eyes from the sun.
- Waistcoats: Short coats often made of thick wool.
- Bandanas: To keep sweat and hair out of eyes.
- Sashes: Used to hold weapons and tools.
"Ready for Action"
Note the heavy boots for traction and the lack of jewelry—it gets caught in the rigging!

"Ahoy there, shipmate!"
Scallywag
A descriptive name for a villainous or mischievous person.
"Git back to work, you scallywag!"
Landlubber
Someone who is clumsy or prefers to stay on the shore.
"He's as green as a landlubber."

A command to stop what you are doing or pay attention.
"Avast, ye! Listen close!"

Yo-ho-ho, and a chest full of gold!"

Life on the High Seas
