1. An Urgent Argument
The Garza sisters panic. Odilia is the oldest sister. She wants to call the police right away. Odilia believes calling the authorities is the right and safe thing to do. But her younger sister Juanita strongly disagrees.

Juanita explains why they should not call the police. Their father abandoned the family. Their mother works very long hours to pay the bills. Juanita fears social workers will take them away from their mother if the police investigate.
3. The Bold Plan
Juanita searches the dead man's wallet. His name is Gabriel Pérdido. He has money and an address in Coahuila, Mexico. Juanita creates a surprising plan. She wants all five sisters to drive the body across the Mexican border to return him to his wife and children.
