The Tall Tree
Story Time
Barnaby is a little hedgehog. He looks up at a tall tree. Barnaby sees a big, sweet plum. Yum! He cannot climb the rough tree. But Barnaby does not give up! He puts bouncy metal springs on his boots. Boing! Barnaby hops into the air. Oops! He falls into soft green moss. Barnaby smiles. He will fix his boots.
Barnaby puts rubber caps on the bottom of his boots. He takes a big breath. Boing, boing! Barnaby jumps up, up, up! He grabs the big purple plum. Hooray! Barnaby floats back down to the grass. He cuts the plum and shares it with all his friends. Barnaby is glad that he tried again.
