The Setup:
Distribute the two sample abstracts. Do not reveal which one was funded. Ask students to read both and vote on which one they would give $50,000 to based only on the first three sentences.

"Explore" is a low-impact verb (not goal-oriented).
No explicit mention of why we need to know this NOW.
