Guided Mechanical Support
For learners with low mechanical confidence, use Hand-over-Hand guidance for initial traces. Gradually release pressure as they gain sensory feedback of the line.
The Verbal Anchor
As they trace, narrate the shape and name of the letter together. This connects the Sound , Shape , and Action into a singular credential marker.
Positive Redirection
If a learner selects the wrong marker, do not say "Wrong." Instead, present the pre-printed name card and ask, "Does this match what you see here?" to encourage self-correction.
