SCENE 1: THE SUNNY SHORE
Narrator:
The sun is shining bright over Bluebell Lake. The water looks like a giant blue diamond. Mia and Sam are ready to swim!
Mia:
Race you to the big rock, Sam! The water feels like warm soup today!
Sam:
Wait for me! Look at all the tiny bubbles. They look like fairy dust under the water.
Narrator:
Mia dives deep down. She sees something glowing in the sand. It is a smooth, purple stone. It shines even in the dark water.
SCENE 2: THE MAGIC BEGINS
Mia:
(Coming up for air) Sam! Look what I found! It’s glowing!
Sam:
Wow! It’s beautiful. It feels warm in my hand. Hey, look! There are three tiny stars carved into the side.
Narrator:
Suddenly, the stone begins to hum. A soft, fairy-like voice whispers: "Three stars for three wishes."
Mia:
Did you hear that? I wish for... a giant floating pizza party right here in the lake!
Narrator:
POOF! One star on the stone vanishes. Suddenly, a giant raft made of pizza boxes floats toward them!
SCENE 3: FLYING AND SHIMMERING
Sam:
It worked! This is the best day ever. Now it's my turn. I wish we could fly over the lake like dragonflies!
Narrator:
The second star disappears. Mia and Sam lift off the water! They soar high into the air. They can see the whole forest!
Mia:
I feel so light! Look at the trees! But we only have one star left. We should make it a special wish.
Sam:
I agree. Let's make the lake magical for everyone.
Mia:
I wish that Bluebell Lake sparkles like glitter every time the sun hits it, forever and ever!
Narrator:
The last star blinks out. The water below them begins to shimmer with a million colors. It is the most beautiful thing they have ever seen.
Sam:
We did it! The lake will always be a fairy tale now.
