DLG Acceleration Launch Agenda
Meeting Time: 1 hour 30 Minutes
Room: CTEC Curriculum Library
Attendees: DLG team
Context & Foundation: FCJH Pre-Grant Pilot & Tech Committee Leadership
Grassroots Catalyst
Ambassador Leadership FCJH's Tech Committee—comprising several District AI Ambassadors—independently spearheaded the adoption of SchoolAI across classrooms prior to any grant funding.
Proven Momentum Classroom implementation proved that real-time conversational feedback significantly boosted student revision stamina and lowered teacher grading bottlenecks.
The Grant Springboard That demonstrated grassroots success served as the direct justification for securing this Digital Learning Grant to systematically scale across ML and ELA writing.
Strategic Accountability: 2026–2027 Grant Writing Goals Measurable Rubric Targets
District ML K–12 • Monthly Cycle WIDA Standard
Multilingual Learner (ML) WIDA Writing Growth
ML students will use SchoolAI Spaces for revision skills building, analyzing feedback based on the WIDA Rubric to revise writing samples at least once per month. Teachers will leverage Lenny to assess progress monitoring samples.
Year-End Target: ≥1 Proficiency Level Growth in 2+ Criteria:
• Discourse: Org. of Language • Discourse: Cohesion of Lang. • Discourse: Density of Lang.
• Sentence: Grammatical Complexity • Word/Phrase: Precision of Lang. Assessed via Lenny monthly samples
FCJH 7th & 8th ELA • Quarterly Cycle Indiana ILEARN
FCJH Indiana ILEARN Writing Rubric Goal
Students in 7th/8th ELA will use SchoolAI Spaces for revision skills building, applying feedback based on ILEARN Rubrics to revise writing samples at least once a quarter. Teachers will use Lenny to assess progress monitoring samples.

Guiding Prompts
00–15m Ambassador Pilot Recap
What grassroots coaching tactics from our FCJH AI Ambassadors should we replicate district-wide to ensure teacher comfort and trust with chatbot-assisted revision?
15–35m Portals & File Uploads
Are generalized Student Portals (open inquiry across any subject) an option we want to enable for students, or limit to designated writing spaces? How will uploading drafts/files into Spaces impact feedback workflows?
35–55m Revision Skills in Spaces
How do we design SchoolAI Spaces specifically for student revision skills building during monthly ML WIDA prompt cycles and quarterly 7th/8th ILEARN benchmark revisions?
55–75m Lenny Progress Samples
How will teachers use Lenny to assess progress monitoring samples, what PLC evaluation routines will be established, and what scores will trigger tiered writing intervention?
75–90m JH Staff PD & Action Plan
What is our rollout timeline for Junior High staff PD (SchoolAI, Lenny progress monitoring, and teaching students how to use chatbots wisely), and what deliverables lock by Oct 1st?
