Wellness Pizza Worksheet Wellness Pizza
Mapping Your Positivity Pillars
Project: Resilience Blueprint
PHASE 01: ASSESSMENT
Name:
Date:
Think about your typical week. How much time and energy do you spend on these four categories? Use different colored pencils to "top" each slice of your pizza. The more "toppings" (color), the more time you spend in that area.
SOCIAL Friends & Family
CREATIVE Hobbies & Arts
RELAXATION Quiet Time
PHYSICAL Movement & Sport
Blueprint Analysis
1. Which slice of your pizza is the "fullest"? Why do you think that is?
2. Which slice is the "emptiest"? What is one small activity you could add to this slice this week?
3. When a pizza is lopsided (one side is heavy, the other is light), it's hard to carry! How does it feel when your "Wellness Pizza" is lopsided?
"A balanced slice is a resilient life." — The Blueprint Motto
Wellness Pillars Slides Pillars of Positivity
Designing Your Wellness Blueprint
PHASE 01
The Wellness Pizza
If your life was a pizza, how much "topping" would be on each slice?
Is your pizza balanced?
Is one side too heavy?
Are some slices empty?
Grab your worksheet and start "topping" your pizza!
The 4 Pillars of Positivity
Physical
Moving your body and getting your heart rate up.
Social
Connecting with people who make you feel good.
Creative
Making things, playing music, or solving puzzles.
Relaxation
Resting your mind and body to recharge.
Station Rotation
TIME: 8 MINS / STATION
1
Visit each station.
2
Try the sample activity.
3
Ask: "Does this pillar need more toppings?"
Pro-Tip for Architects:
Not everyone likes the same activities! If you don't like a specific activity, try to think of a different one that fits in that same pillar.

The Four Wellness Stations
Station A: Physical Pillar
Goal: Experience how movement shifts mood.
Activity:
"The 1-Minute Energy Burst"
Students do a series of jumping jacks, invisible jump rope, and "wall sits" for 1 minute total.
Setup:
Clear floor space, a digital timer or sand timer.
Station B: Social Pillar
Goal: Experience the "bump" of quick connection.
Activity:
"Positivity Postcards"
Students write a 1-sentence note of encouragement to a classmate, teacher, or family member.
Setup:
Index cards or small paper scraps, pens.
Station C: Creative Pillar
Goal: Engage the "flow" state through creation.
Activity:
"The Scribble Challenge"
One student makes a random scribble; the next must turn it into a recognizable object or creature.
Setup:
Blank paper, thin black markers.
Station D: Relaxation Pillar
Goal: Observe the calming effect of stillness.
Activity:
"Mindful Listening"
Students close eyes and list 5 distinct sounds they hear in the room or outside.
Setup:
A quiet corner, a small rug or floor cushions (optional).
Debrief Prompts
1
"Which station felt the most 'comfortable' to you? Which felt the most 'needed' based on your pizza?"
2
"What happens to a building if one of its four main pillars is missing or crumbling? How is that like our wellness?"
3
"If you didn't enjoy a station, what is a different activity in that same category you MIGHT enjoy?" (Example: If you didn't like jumping jacks, would you like dancing or biking?)

Phase 02: Demolishing Obstacles
Caution: Obstacles Ahead
The "Couch Trap"
Have you ever wanted to do something fun, but you just couldn't get yourself off the couch?
Symptoms:
• "I'm too tired."
• "I'll do it later."
• "Scrolling is easier."
Inertia
01
The 5-Minute Rule
"I will do [Activity] for only 5 minutes. If I want to stop after that, I can."

02
Task Chunking
Big goals feel heavy. Break them into "bite-sized" chunks that feel lighter to carry.
Example: "Cleaning my room" vs. "Just putting away my shoes."
Chunk 1: Get out the shoes
Chunk 2: Walk to the park
Chunk 3: Play for 10 mins
Simulation Time
In your groups, you'll be given a "Barrier Scenario." Your job is to use your Barrier Buster strategies to help the character get moving!
Demolition Toolkit Worksheet Demolition Toolkit
Phase 02: Strategic Barrier Busting
Project ID: Resilience Blueprint
The Strategy Toolkit
Tool 01
The 5-Minute Rule
"Just 5 minutes, then I can quit."
The hardest part of any positive activity is the start. Tell yourself you only have to do it for 5 minutes. Usually, once you start, you'll want to keep going!
Tool 02
Task Chunking
"Break it down into bites."
If a wellness goal feels too big (like "Get Fit"), break it into tiny, easy steps (like "Put on sneakers"). One tiny step is easier to start than a whole mountain.
Barrier Simulation
Scenario A: The Rain Cloud
Leo planned to go for a bike ride with his friend, but it's cold outside and he's cozy under a blanket. He thinks, "I'll just stay here and watch one more video."
Which strategy would help Leo most?
What should Leo say to himself?
Scenario B: The Art Mountain
Maya wants to start a drawing project, but the blank page looks huge and she's afraid she'll mess it up. She hasn't touched her sketchbook in a week.
Which strategy would help Maya most?
What is the "first bite" she should take?

HOOK & SIMULATION
The Hook: "The Excuse Obstacle Course"
Before starting the slides, set up a simple physical challenge in the classroom. This makes the concept of "mental barriers" tangible and memorable.
Setup (5 Mins)
Place 3-4 chairs or desks in a line to act as "barriers."
Tape signs to each barrier with "Excuses" (e.g., "Too Tired", "Forgot My Shoes", "This is Boring").
At the end, place a "Joy Station" (e.g., a jar of stickers, a ball to throw, or a high-five station).
The Run (10 Mins)
• Select 3-4 volunteers to try the course.
• Round 1: Students must crawl under/over barriers quickly to reach the joy station.
• Round 2: Introduce "The Couch Trap." As they try to start, you (the teacher) jokingly hold a "blanket" or "remote" and tell them they look too comfortable to move.
Simulation Facilitation
During the "Demolition Toolkit" worksheet phase, facilitate the role-plays for Scenario A and B.
Look For:
Students identifying that the 5-Minute Rule is best for physical inertia (getting moving), while Task Chunking is best for mental overwhelm (fear of failure or complexity).
Key Question:
"If the first 5 minutes feel terrible, are you allowed to stop? (Yes!) Does knowing you CAN stop make it easier to start? (Usually!)"
Final Debrief Quote:
"Barriers aren't walls; they are just speed bumps. We don't have to break the bump, we just have to find the right gear to roll over it."

The Stacking Secret
Is it easier to start a tower on shaky ground or on a solid base?
A new habit is like a single block. If you try to place it in the middle of nowhere, it falls over.

Phase 04: Designing the Week
The "Free Time" Myth
If you wait for joy to happen, it usually gets replaced by chores, homework, or boring scrolling.
Resilient architects don't wait for joy—they budget for it.
