A 3-day small group social-emotional learning sequence focused on developing empathy for grades 3-5. Aligning with the CASEL framework, students practice recognizing feelings, listening actively, and responding to peers with compassionate words and actions.

A 4-day small group conflict resolution unit for grades 3-5, aligned with CASEL competencies. Students learn to identify conflicts and apply four specific healthy problem-solving strategies: find a compromise, report to an adult, ignore/walk away, and calmly tell to stop.

A comprehensive back-to-school character education unit centered around the schoolwide EVCS CARES values: Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control. Each value is taught through active modeling, guided practice, and reflection, culminating in a schoolwide community project.

A 4-day small-group social-emotional learning unit for grades 3-5 focused on situational emotional regulation. Students learn to analyze their internal emotional state and external environmental constraints to select and apply the most effective, socially responsible coping skill.

A 3-day small group SEL intervention for grades 3-5 focused on self-management and impulse control. Students learn to pause and select a school-appropriate calming strategy (deep breath, take a break, or rest 5 minutes) before responding to high-emotion situations.
