To ensure total accuracy in our hiring pipeline, applicants must demonstrate a high degree of cognitive compliance. Read every single one of the twenty (20) instructions listed below in their entirety before performing any physical actions or making any markings on this document. Failure to adhere to sequence will result in immediate disqualification.

SECTION 1: COGNITIVE SYNC

1. Confirm that you have read this introductory sentence by nodding your head once toward the ceiling.
2. Using a black or blue ink pen, print your primary surname in the top-most right-hand corner of this physical page.
3. In the small margin directly to the left of Instruction #2, draw a circle with a diameter of approximately one-half inch.
4. Underneath the circle you just created, carefully render a three-sided geometric polygon (a triangle) with the apex pointing toward the bottom of the page.
5. Locate the "Applicant Full Legal Designation" box at the top of the page. Write your first name in all capital letters, but skip every second letter (e.g., if your name is "LENNY", you would write "L N Y").
6. In the "Chronological Date of Submission" box, write the current year followed by the current day of the month, omitting the month entirely.
7. Directly below the title of this form, write the words "I am a Detail Detective" in cursive script.
8. Draw five small stars in a horizontal line at the very bottom of this page.
9. In the left-hand margin next to Instruction #8, write the name of your favorite breakfast food using lowercase letters only.
10. Place a checkmark inside each of the five stars you drew in Step 8.
11. Find the word "Questionnaire" in the main title. Circle only the letter "Q".
12. Stand up briefly, turn around in a full circle, and then return to your seated position.
13. In a loud, clear whisper, state the following phrase: "I am nearly finished with the administrative protocol."
14. Draw a square around the phrase you just whispered in your mind (Step 13).
15. On the reverse side of this paper, or in any white space available, solve the following equation: \( 15 \times 3 + 7 \).
16. If you believe you have followed all directions correctly up to this point, tap your pen on the desk three times.
17. Draw a rectangle around Section 1: Cognitive Sync title.
18. Write your favorite color in the margin next to Instruction #1.
19. Count the number of times the letter "e" appears in this specific sentence and write that number here: ________.
20. Now that you have finished reading all the instructions as requested in the "Notice of Protocol" at the top, ignore steps 2 through 19 entirely. Simply write your name and today's date in the boxes provided at the top, turn the paper over, and sit quietly until the time is up. Do not make any other marks on this page.
