Green Light
Easy or quick questions. Answer these first and keep moving!
Yellow Light
Tricky ones. Give them a minute, then use the "Flag" tool if you're stuck.
Red Light
Super hard. Flag it, skip it, and come back when your brain feels fresher.
Pro Tip: Never leave a question blank before you submit. Even a "best guess" is better than zero!

Set an empowering, calm tone. Acknowledge that feelings about testing are valid but manageable.
Discussion Prompt: "When you think about the big ILEARN test, what's one word that comes to mind? Why do you think that feeling exists?"
2. The Routine & SLEUTH Strategy (Slides 3-4)
Slide 3: Emphasize physical prep. Ask students to share their favorite "brain food" breakfast.Slide 4: Introduce SLEUTH. Model the "L" (Labeling) by showing how to find words like "NOT" or "CHOOSE TWO" in sample questions.Worksheet Part 1: Have students complete the scenario matching. Review as a group to ensure they understand the actions associated with each letter.
3. Active Practice (Worksheet Part 2)
Use the Red Panda passage for guided practice. This is a "I Do, We Do, You Do" moment.
