Some people think "respecting school property" is just about blindly following rules. It’s not. It’s about control, ownership, and reputation. When shared spaces (restrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, and tech) get trashed or vandalized, the environment changes. Security gets tight, bathrooms get locked, and everyone loses freedom. Respecting your space is a tactical move to keep your privileges and control your environment.

Situation 01

The Restroom Hangout & Damage

During 3rd period, you walk into the main boys' restroom. A group of older guys are hanging out. One of them is ripping a soap dispenser off the wall to make a "funny" video, and another is clogging a toilet for a prank. They hand you a marker and say, "Write something savage on the mirror, don't be soft."

Path A: Take the Marker

You tag the mirror and laugh along so you look cool. A teacher walks in 2 minutes later.

You make a joke, say "I'm good, trying to pass math," slide the marker back, and leave the bathroom.

The Cafeteria Dump & Run

Lunch is over, and your table is covered in empty milk cartons, spilled ranch, and crushed chips. Everyone stands up to leave. One guy says, "Just leave it. The custodians get paid to clean this up anyway, that's their job." They walk away, leaving a massive pile of garbage.

The Chromebook Key-Pop

You are in the library. Your buddy notices that the Chromebook keyboard next to him has loose keys. He starts picking at them, popping off the "Shift" and "Delete" keys just to stick them in his pocket. He whispers, "Do it to yours, it takes two seconds and they won't even know who did it."

Hypothetical Breakdown

Imagine you and a friend were messin' around in the cafeteria and ended up knocking over a heavy storage cart, spilling paint and art supplies everywhere, ruining several student projects. You didn't mean to do it, but you ran away.
