HOW TO PLAY & PRINTABLE PIECES
Players: 2 - 4
Ages 8+ | 15-25 Mins
Core Gameplay Loop
- Setup: Cut out your Player Cube below. Place it on Tile 01 (Start). Give each player 3 Attempt Tokens and 0 Secret Coins.
- Turn Order: Roll 1 standard die (or use the printable spinner). Highest roll goes first. Play moves clockwise.
- Movement: On your turn, roll a standard 6-sided die (1-6) and advance your cube that many tiles forward.
- Hazard Encounter: When landing on a hazard tile (Spike, Saw Blade, Wave), roll the die to attempt the jump requirement listed on that tile.
- Crashing: If you fail a hazard roll, your cube crashes! Discard 1 Attempt Token and move your cube back to your last unlocked Checkpoint (or Tile 01 if none reached).
Winning & Pro Mechanics
Victory Condition: The first player to reach Tile 30 (100%) with at least 1 Attempt remaining wins the run!
Secret Coin Scoring: In a tie or multi-round tournament, each collected Secret Coin adds +5 bonus points to your final standing.
Game Over: If you lose all 3 Attempt Tokens, you are disqualified from the current round unless a teammate solves a Geometry Trial to revive you!
Gravity & Ship Portals: Portals grant special movement bonuses or bypass upcoming hazards without taking rolls!

GEOMETRY IN MOTION
The Math, Angles & Trajectories Behind Obstacle Courses
Today's Mission
Decode polygons, calculate jump arcs, and design high-speed levels
100% FOCUS REQUIRED
HAZARD ARCHITECTURE
THE GEOMETRY OF SPIKES
RULE: SUM = 180°
TYPE 01
Equilateral Spike
All 3 sides are equal. Every interior angle measures exactly 60°.
Standard Hazard
TYPE 02
Isosceles Spike
2 equal sides and 2 equal base angles. Taller peak requires higher vertical leap!
Tall Clearance
TYPE 03
Right Triangle Ramp
Contains one 90° right angle. Used as a launch ramp or slope barrier.
Hypotenuse Slope
A triple spike hazard covers a horizontal base length of 3 consecutive triangle bases!
TRAJECTORY PHYSICS
PARABOLAS & JUMP RINGS
QUADRATIC MOTION
The Parabolic Jump Arc
Every jump follows a symmetric curve called a parabola. Gravity continuously pulls the cube downward while forward velocity carries it ahead.
• Peak Vertex: Maximum clearance height
• Axis of Symmetry: Jump rises and falls equally
Orb & Ring Velocity
Hitting an interactive ring applies an instant impulse vector, altering both angle and vertical velocity in mid-flight!
• Yellow Ring: Standard high jump impulse
• Purple Ring: Low-altitude micro bounce
Math Fact: A parabola equation is written as \(y = ax^2 + bx + c\)
SPATIAL MAPPING
MAPPING THE COORDINATE GRID
(X, Y) ORDERED PAIRS
STEP 1
X-Axis (Time / Distance)
The horizontal axis represents beats of music and forward distance from X = 0 (Launch) to X = 15 (Finish).
STEP 2
Y-Axis (Elevation)
The vertical axis represents floor height, platforms, and ceiling bounds from Y = 0 to Y = 10.
STEP 3
Coordinate Verification
Every obstacle exists at an exact point \((X, Y)\). Platforms span length along \(X\) and height along \(Y\).
