Lesson Pacing & Activities
10 Mins
1. Setup & Warm-Up Check-In
Students complete the "Power Play Check-In" warm-up independently. Review answers together to review square and cube notation before beginning the game.

2. Bingo Board Customization
Hand out the "Power Play Bingo Board". Instruct students to choose 24 numbers from the 24-number "Power Up Pool" on their sheet, writing them in a randomized layout across their grid (leaving the center "FREE" star blank).

3. Play the Bingo Game
Call expressions from the master list (or pull calling cards from a bag). Students must calculate each exponent value on scratch paper and mark it if they have it on their board. Play multiple rounds (Row, Column, Diagonal, Four Corners, or Blackout).

4. Diagnostic Exit Ticket
Have students cut and complete the Exit Ticket at the bottom of the Check-In sheet. Collect it as they leave to assess mastery and identify students requiring tier-2 intervention.
