Lesson Purpose
Students must understand that special education scheduling is not a blank slate. By identifying "Big Rocks" (school-wide constraints), they learn to find the actual windows where instruction can occur. This prevents the common mistake of scheduling a student for intervention during their lunch or general education core math block.
