Exploded-view diagrams are EXCITING , but they are also CHAOTIC . Your brain tries to see the whole project at once.

Decoding the Arrows
Insertion
Where does the part go INTO ? Look for the dashed line connecting the hole to the part.
Rotation
Does it need to turn? Look for the circular arrow indicating CLOCKED orientation.

A "Verification Pause" takes 10 seconds. Redoing an entire project takes 10 hours.
Stop after every step.

Breaking the Complex into the Simple
The Golden Rule
One sentence.
One action.
One verification.
Step 1: Orient
Start with the base. Tell them where to place the very first piece on the page.
"Draw a square in the center of the paper."
Step 2: Specify
Give exact locations. Use words like "Top-Left," "Bottom-Right," or "Centered."
"At the top-right corner of the square..."
Step 3: Confirm
Wait for them to say "Done." Never give two instructions at once.
"Ready for the next step?"
