The 9s Finger Method
- Hold both hands in front of you (palms facing you). Fingers numbered 1 to 10 from left thumb to right thumb.
- To find 9 × 4, fold down your 4th finger.
- Fingers to the left = 3 (Tens).
- Fingers to the right = 6 (Ones).
Result: 3 tens + 6 ones = 36!
Works for 9 × 1 through 9 × 10!
