OJT Reflection & Facilitation

Use these prompts during daily debriefs or for one-on-one coaching. Focus on skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and professional behavior to help members function independently in real-world settings.

1. Role-Specific Skills

• What part of your role today did you feel most confident doing?
• Which task was the hardest for you and why?
• Did you follow the procedures correctly for your station?

2. Communication & Teamwork

• How did you communicate with your team members today?
• Did you ask for help when you needed it?
• How did you help keep the team organized or on track?

3. Customer Service

• How did you greet and interact with “customers”?
• Did you remember to promote daily specials?
• How did you handle mistakes, if any, during service?

4. Problem-Solving

• Did you face any unexpected problems? How did you solve them?
• If a drink wasn't right, what steps did you take?
• How could you prevent that issue next time?

5. Self-Reflection & Growth

What new skill did you practice today?

What was your favorite part of the shift and why?

How confident do you feel doing this task alone? (1-5)

What would you like to practice more in the next session?
