🟡 Support (Emerging)
Provide textured sandpaper numerals. Have student roll playdough "snakes" into standard 1, 2, 3 shapes before using pencils. Use triangular pencil grips.
🔵 On-Level (Target)
Guide self-checking against the standard model strip. Encourage chanting the formation rhyme aloud while hand is in motion.
🟢 Extension (Advanced)
Challenge students to draw their own sets of 1, 2, and 3 objects on the back, label each set with standard numerals, and write the number word.
Closing Circle Check (5 Mins): Teacher holds up a five-frame (1, 2, or 3 dots). Students show that number on their fingers and "air-write" the standard digit!
