Objective

Activity: Bedroom Design
Distribute the Bedroom Designer Worksheet . Students must:
Draw furniture as rectangles or squares on the 20x20 grid.
Use a ruler to ensure clean drafting lines.
Calculate the area for every item using the formulas from the video.
Calculate the "Remaining Floor Space" by subtracting total furniture area from 400 sq ft.

Closure: Architect Review
Partners swap designs. They must "verify the blueprints" by re-calculating one piece of furniture and checking the final subtraction for the floor space. If it's correct, they sign off as the "Senior Architect."
