Use the symbols to find which number is greater, less, or equal!
Greater Than
The number on the left is bigger than the number on the right.
Example:
74 > 38
74 is greater than 38 because
7 tens is more than 3 tens.
Less Than
The number on the left is smaller than the number on the right.
Example:
26 < 64
26 is less than 64 because
2 tens is less than 6 tens.
Equal To
Both numbers are the exact same value.
Example:
55 = 55
55 is equal to 55 because
both numbers have 5 tens & 5 ones.
