00–05 min
Hook & Oral Warm-Up: Review counting on by 1s ("Start at 7 and count on 3 steps: 8, 9, 10!"). Announce the upgrade: frogs don't crawl by 1s—they take giant leaps of 2 and 5!
05–15 min
Interactive Slide Instruction: Walk through Slides 1–4. Teach the Whisper-Shout Trick (whisper 1, shout 2, whisper 3, shout 4). Highlight pairs in the classroom (eyes, ears, shoes). Introduce the +5 High-Five rhythm.
15–25 min
Guided Kinesthetic Practice (Slides 5): Have students stand up. For +2, jump two-footed on each even count. Pair up to give mutual high-fives for counting by 5s to 30. Run the interactive slide checks together.
