Complete Guided Practice Sheet (Page 2) . Focus on crossing out blocks or jumping up columns for -10 problems.
DAY 5
Hundreds Chart Navigation
Complete Chart Navigation Worksheet . Master arrow codes (↓ is +10, ↑ is -10). Solve independent grid puzzles.

Transition: Hundreds Bridge
Introduce Hundreds Bridge Worksheet . Show how adding/subtracting 100 adds/crosses out 100-flats. Note changing digits.

Hundreds addition (+100)
Run Hundreds Addition Worksheet . Practice mentally adding 100 to 3-digit numbers with visual place value guides.
DAY 10
Hundreds Subtraction (-100)
Complete Hundreds Subtraction Worksheet . Practice mental subtraction. Celebrate completing their 2-week bridge!
Bridge Small-Group Interventions
1. Concrete Bridge
Pull 100-flats, 10-rods, and unit cubes to represent bridge equations. Let kids swap flats physically.
2. Pattern Chants
Chant changing digits: "One-thirty-four, Two-thirty-four, Three-thirty-four! Only the hundreds place grew!"
3. Error Check
Watch for students adding 100 and changing the ones or tens digits (e.g., writing 134 + 100 = 244).
